The Liberal Democrats have pushed through their capital programme which included £50,000 for refurbishments at the Manor House Neighbourhood Centre.

Lib Dem campaigner Mohan Raghav met with the Leader of the Council to discuss the problems at Manor House. Mohan said, "The extra cash boost is fantastic news, Manor House is safe in Lib Dem hands."

The Lib Dem capital programme also included more money to be spent on installing alley-gates in burglary hot spots, which Westcotes residents raised as a concern the last focus survey.
