Debbie Almey visits the Walkers Stadium after a match to inspect the litter problem.

Residents have been in touch with Lib Dem Councillor, Debbie Almey to complain about the mess left by supporters and fans on the streets at the Walkers Football Stadium last Saturday.

Debbie visited the site herself to see the rubbish and over flowing waste bins, she said, "Clearly not enough bins have been provided for fans, this is an appalling mess."

Cllr Almey has talked to the City Council and has written to the managers of the Walkers Football stadium to ask what they plan to do to cut down on their fans littering the nearby streets.
