Stoneygate Area Committee

The committees were set up by the Lib Dems to give residents the chance to question the council about issues and services.

Residents of Spinney Hills and Stoneygate are being encouraged to attend their next Area Committee.

Ward councillors, police, health service staff and local community representatives will be taking part in the committee, which is due to meet on Monday, June 4, from 6pm to 8.30pm, at Wesley Hall Community Centre, Hartington Road, Spinney Hills.

Refreshments will be available from 5.30pm.

Cllr. Hussein Suleman, the Lib Dem councillor for Stoneygate said, "The committees were set up across the city by the Lib Dems to give residents the chance to find out more and question the council about local issues and services.
