Three New Police Bikes

Police officers from Welford Rd Policing Unit have gave their thanks to City Councillors, including Cllr. Dale Keeling, in helping to get funding for three police bikes.

The three push bikes were funded by the Freemen, Aylestone and Eyres Monsell Area Committee last year.

Bicycle patrols are an excellent addition to any police station. They promote positive contact with citizens and additional mobility. Police bikes are becoming more popular due to those reasons.
