The City Council may also extend the new rules to other community buildings across Leicester because of fears someone being run over.

Dale Keeling who is the Freemen Ward Lib Dem Councillor and a member of the Learning Disability Partnership Board said, "There has been a lack of consultation with elderly and disabled residents who use the Linwood Centre, some feel the they are being discriminated against."

Dale Keeling is working with the Linwood Centre CA and City Council management to see if there is a compromise.
