Lib Dem Western Park councillor, Roger Blackmore, was formally nominated by the Liberal Democrat group at last nights full City Council meeting.

Roger Blackmore is the ex leader of the Liberal Democrat group and ex leader of Leicester City Council. He will now be elected Lord Mayor on the 21st May and will serve a year as the Lord Mayor of Leicester
