Hughendon Drive Dog Waste Bins

Funding for dog waste bins for Hughendon Drive were given the go-a-head at last weeks Freemen Ward Community Meeting.

Councillor Dale Keeling, who proposed the funding application for the bins said, "Local residents had been in touch regarding the increasing problem of dog owners not picking up their dog waste. After talking to Council officers, it was made clear that the Council wern't going to install the bins needed so I put in the funding application to the Ward meeting.

The funds were agreed at the Freemen Ward Community Meeting. Cllr. Keeling said he will see to it that the bins were installed asap.
