A number of events are being organised throughout the City and Leicester City Council to continue to help the people of Haiti who have survived this devastating earthquake. Freemen Ward Councillor Dale Keeling initiated the idea of a 'Dress down' day and donate a pound to the cause.

Leicester City Council staff and Councillors will be giving their support to the Save the Children Haiti fund by "dressing down" today and donating £1 to the fund. The donations raised will be then sent to Save the Children Haiti Fund which will help provide urgently needed medical attention, safe drinking water, and other necessities.
