Potholes are proving to be a menace for drivers and a major concern in the Abbey area.

Abbey campaigner Simon Sansome said, "Most potholes form from general road wear and tear but the low temperatures we have been experiencing lately has helped water to freeze and expand in existing cracks, which further breaks up the road surface."

Simon Sansome reported dangerous potholes on Halifax Drive, Marwood Road and Boarder Drive. To report potholes, contact 0116 252 7001
