Leicester Best in the Country for Regeneration and Investment

It has been revealed that there is more investment and re-generation work taking place in Leicester then anywhere else in the country!

It's a trend that's set to continue as over the next five years more than £3 billion ( an increase of 50% on 2004) will be invested in the area, in order to keep Leicester's place at the top of the regeneration league. The increased money will be reinvested in the local economy through such schemes as - building a new science park at Abbey Meadows, a new business park at Charles Street, expansion plans for both Leicester and De Montford Universities and a major investment programme has been planned for Leicester's three main hospitals.
